Short english explanation:
The text featured in this piece is taken from the poem "Jeg ser" ("I See") by the Norwegian poet Sigbjørn Obstfelder (1866 - 1900). Obstfelder is considered an early modernist and an important figure in 19th century Norwegian literature. I used a quote from "Jeg ser" because of the poem's particular expression of a feeling of alienation in relation to dramatic changes in its contemporary society. In "Jeg ser" the city is swiftly growing big. Here the premises for communication are changing rapidly.
